About the Artist
Jennifer Buckley McCall is a professional fine artist in Tifton, Georgia. She specializes in rural landscapes with an emphasis on her style of Romantic Realism.

Jennifer graduated from Wesleyan College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Graphic Design and Painting. For the next twenty years, she worked as a graphic designer for organizations throughout the Southeast, but never forgot her need to express herself through painting. In February of 2018, she decided to pursue her artistic passions full-time and opened her studio.
Jennifer is an accomplished fine artist, able to teach a variety of media including watercolor, acrylic, oils, and pastels. She is often commissioned for portraits and landscapes in pastel and oil. Jennifer is a member of the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, and the National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society.
Jennifer has been featured in publications such as Tifton Scene and Southwest Georgia Living Magazine. She received a Colsen Calendar placement award at the Spring Into Art Exhibit for 2016 in Valdosta, Georgia and Honorable Mention at The Southeastern Pastel Society 2017 Online Annual Show. She was awarded the 2022 Community Art Citizen Award for Kiwanis International.
Jennifer is an avid plein-air painter. She has been painting "en plein air" (outdoors and on location) for over twenty years. She also participates in plein air competitions, winning second place at the Olmsted Georgia Color PaintQuick, and grand prize at the Turner Center for the Arts ARTOber Plein Air Competition in Valdosta, Georgia. In addition to competing and commissions, Jennifer teaches a variety of mediums to adults and children regionally.
The artist's newest works will be featured at the Gallery of ABAC's Georgia Museum of Agriculture in a solo exhibition, "The Long Way Home," from January through May 2025.
