Bringing A Moment to Life as a Work of Art
There may be times you just can’t find the art you want. You may go from gallery to gallery, from store to store, looking for that one painting – and nobody’s got it! It might be an image of that special place where your husband proposed, your favorite winery, or even a favorite view from your home. Maybe it’s a portrait of your family member or your family pet. A painting like this is called a commissioned painting. It is a fantastic way to remember and preserve that special moment in time to enjoy forever.
One of the best aspects of a commission is that you are able to share what or whom you love most with others. It is also a legacy for family, your children or even your grandchildren.
Of course, some folks request a painting because they need a work of art to complete their beautifully decorated living space! Whatever the reason may be, I love commissions, because each one is a true collaboration between the artist and collector.
