Landscape Commissions

Commissioned landscapes are a wonderful addition to your collection of art for the home or office.   It may be a scene which holds special memories for you and your family, thus making it much more special than other paintings. I can work from your photographs if they are of the quality needed for an excellent painting, however, I would need to approve the quality prior to writing a contract.

Prices for commissions are available from the artist upon request.

Payment is made in halves with the first payment made up front as a deposit.

 Pastels are soft, chalk-like pigments which have no drying time.  Pastels can take 2 – 6 months depending on the size, amount of detail, etc.  Oils will take at least 4-6 months to allow for drying time and varnishing. Pastels must be matted and framed under glass to preserve.  Oils need to be varnished (artist will varnish) and framed to be preserved.
