Harvest Still Life in Pastel
"Harvest Still Life," 16' x 20" Pastel on Panel With the fall weather finally upon us I couldn't resist painting a still-life from my trip to the pumpkin patch. Thrown in the mix were a few gourds, my antique farmhouse pitcher full of sunflowers, a scattering of twigs heavy with berries, a Granny Smith apple, and some beautiful, huge maple leaves I'd collected from a nearby tree. Painting Main Street
View of Main Street, Tifton, 8" x 10" Oil on Panel. This 8" x 10" plein air painting, “View of Main Street, Tifton” was created on location and then finished in the studio. It's nice to see my followers are genuinely interested in my next onsite painting location and also that they took the time to let me know. One of the places I'd not thought of is the Future Farmstead at the UGA Tifton Campus. It is truly beautiful there and...

I have continued to paint, yes, but my progress was slightly impeded by the slower pace of recovery. Because of my recovery time, this blog was moved to the back burner. Now, I am fully healed and back to business! New items: I created an online school, EaselShare, at the beginning of the year and I am happy to say it has been very successful. Step-by-step videos, accompanying lesson guides and live group weekly checkins...
